Projects

Sotera carries out basic and applied research in co-operation with experts in social, health and technology sectors. Every year 5–7 research projects are under way. The projects are partly carried out in co-operation with other units of Aalto University. Partners include other higher education institutions and experts from various fields. Research is funded by the National Technology Agency of Finland (Tekes), the Academy of Finland, the European Union, various ministries, the Finnish Work Environment Fund, the municipalities in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area, private companies and a number of other partners.
